My first encounter with Don was at the ripe age of sixteenish when i was walking to secretarial school on Spring Garden Road in Halifax. I wanted to meet Jim before class and he always walked Robie St to St Mary's(then a college) on Quinpool. Who threw the first snowball? Don! I soon learned to avoid meeting up wit the two of themby taking a different route. Don and Et became very loving and dear friendsto my whole family. At Jim's funeral Don presented me with a snowball which I kept in my freezer for a long time. Don the Hernon family love and will miss you terribly. Love to you all. God Bless. Tess P.S.
